Based in the village of Prado (Castrelo de Miño), our beginnings date back to the 1940s just within one of the oldest wine regions in Spain: the Ribeiro.
At that time, we started with the commercialisation of the family-produced wines. Concurrently, we laid the foundations of our big future project by planting our most important varietals: Treixadura, Godello and Loureira, with the clear aim of making wines from our own plots.
In these early stages, we reached a 10ha plantation for these varieties. These features currently allow us to create a wide arrange of wines coming from plots that can be up to 75 years old. Later, in the 1980s, we moved to Finca Reboreda (Puga) as Bodegas Campante. There, we built our first facilities, which have been adapting to the technological and commercial needs until today.
We continued with the second stage of our big project: the planting of 12ha of vineyards. They are located just beside the ones planted in the 1940s and, together, they make up the 22ha that surround our winery facilities. These plots have altitudes ranging between 60 and 300 metres and are found along the banks of the River Miño.
