Special selection of the Garnacha Tintorera variety from our centenary vineyards. It is indeed the reflection of the genuine Valdeorras plots and it is only produced during extraordinary vintages.
Variety: Red wine. Garnacha Tintorera
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
Origin: Valdeorras DO
Production process: A thorough and careful production, carried out by selecting the best bunches and opting for an artisanal production. It is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels and it spends 10 months more bottled before being marketed. The result is a deep wine with a good ripening. Bottled without prior stabilisation and with only a light filtering, this wine might eventually show natural precipitates.
Tasting notes: Clean and bright wine covered with a top cherry-red-coloured layer. Intense nose, complex and deep, with deep reminiscences of the plot where its vineyards are planted. It features neat aromas reminding of ripe red berries with elegant spice touches, and a background of rose petals, talc and minerals. It has a powerful mouth with an excellent structure. Intense, complex and savoury with a very long palate aftertaste.
